Apple Harvest Day 2024 Recap
with Calling All Cargo
That’s another Apple Harvest Day in the books for the Calling All Cargo team!
You may not know it but we help setup the event early in the morning before the sun comes up, and we break it down after it’s over. Such a fun event with great weather this year, and in-turn, huge (probably record-breaking) crowds for Dover’s 40th Annual Apple Harvest Day!
The runners of the Apple Harvest Day 5K were looking strong from our water station – great job, everyone!
We sold a few raffle tickets at our table for a chance to win a 40″ Samsung smart TV. It was less than we would’ve liked so we are going to match the $$$ and donate $200 to Vouchers for Veterans.
Congrats to the raffle winner, Angus!!! He came by and picked up his TV.
Also, he’s an Army Veteran!!! We are so happy he won the prize from our Apple Harvest Day raffle in Dover.
Thank you to everyone who came out and enjoyed time out in the community, and thank you to the Greater Dover Chamber of Commerce for supporting so many small businesses.
